Create follow-up task

Approval created

A person confirms before anything changes.

OAuth or API keys

Connect with OAuth or a scoped secret or agent API key.

Standard or Premium AI

Remote MCP connections are available on Yorlet’s paid AI plans.

Human approvals on writes

Write tools create an approval instead of silently changing a live tenancy.

One trusted tool catalogue

Use the same search, briefing, arrears, repair, task and report tools as Yorlet AI.

How it works

A remote MCP server on your Yorlet account

Your client discovers the tool catalogue, sends a JSON-RPC tool call and receives structured account data. Permissions, plan checks and approval policies are enforced by Yorlet on every request.

Connect a client

From endpoint to first answer in four steps

Clients that support a remote HTTP MCP server can connect directly. Start with OAuth where available and grant only the permissions the client needs.

  1. 01MCP

    Check your plan

    Confirm Standard or Premium Yorlet AI is active on the account.

  2. 02MCP

    Add the server

    Point Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or another remote MCP client at the production URL.

  3. 03MCP

    Authenticate

    Complete OAuth, or attach a secret or agent API key with the permissions you need.

  4. 04MCP

    Test a read

    Call tools/list, then Search or List arrears to confirm the connection.

Remote server configuration

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "yorlet": {
      "url": "https://api.yorlet.com/v1/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Guardrails

Approvals, permissions and plan checks are enforced on the server. A client cannot skip the human gate.

Works with the rest of Platform

MCP sits next to the public API, webhooks, sandbox and API keys. Use whichever surface fits the job.

FAQ

MCP questions

What is MCP?
The Model Context Protocol is how AI clients such as Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor call tools on an external system. Yorlet implements MCP as JSON-RPC on POST /v1/mcp.
How do I authenticate?
Use OAuth, advertised at /.well-known/oauth-protected-resource/v1/mcp, or a secret or agent API key. Connecting Claude, ChatGPT or another MCP client requires a Standard or Premium Yorlet AI plan.
Can the assistant change live tenancies on its own?
No. Read tools return account data immediately. Write tools create an approval and go through the same policy gate as the dashboard assistant. A person confirms destructive actions.
Which clients work?
Any MCP client that can call a remote HTTP MCP server with OAuth or a bearer token. That includes Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor. Point the client at https://api.yorlet.com/v1/mcp in production.
