Export guide

How to export your data from Arthur Online

Arthur’s support site documents a transactions export list report under Financials, with CSV as the destination and filters for group, transaction type and date range. Use that for the money trail, then export occupancy, people and documents from the corresponding modules before you cancel.
  1. 1

    Transactions

Go to Financials, then the transactions export list report. Choose CSV as the destination, select the group the transactions apply to, set transaction types and a date range, then run the report.

    Typical format: CSV.

  2. 2

    Properties, units and tenancies

Run occupancy and property reports for buildings, units or rooms and current tenancies. Include void and HMO room records so the hierarchy survives the move.

Typical format: CSV or Excel from reports.

  3. 3

    Contacts

Export tenants, owners, contractors and applicants from the stakeholder records. Keep email and phone fields complete so portals can be re-invited.

    Typical format: CSV.

  4. 4

    Documents and compliance

Download certificates, tenancy agreements and files stored on property and occupancy records. Compliance dates should be exported as a report as well as files.

Typical format: PDF/image files plus a CSV index of expiry dates.

Watch-outs before you leave

  • Transaction reports are filtered before they run so large ledgers do not time out. Export several date ranges rather than “all time” in one go.
  • Room-level HMO records need a target system that understands the same hierarchy. Confirm mapping with Yorlet before go-live.
  • Owner and occupant apps will lose access at cutover. Issue final statements and a forwarding path first.
Import

Importing into Yorlet

Grant Yorlet access to Arthur Online (and any connected CRM, collector or maintenance tool). We transfer properties, people, tenancies, balances and documents, train your team and stay with you through go-live. Read the generic switch process if you want the four-stage view.

Before you export

  • Keep identifiers (tenancy ID, property ID, email) consistent across every export file.
  • Export connected systems in the same window so repairs and payments still join to the tenancy.
  • Plan Direct Debit re-enrolment if the collector is changing.

FAQ

Exporting from Arthur Online

How do I export Arthur transactions?
Financials → transactions export list report → CSV, then filter by group, transaction type and date range. Large books should be split by date.
Can Yorlet migrate an HMO book from Arthur?
Yes. Room, unit and building records can be mapped during a supported switch so occupancy is not flattened into a single unit.
