How to export your data from Goodlord
- 1
Tenancies
In the agent workspace open Settings, then Manage Branch, then the Export Data tab. Single-branch agencies export immediately. Multi-branch agencies choose the current branch or all branches, then Export.
Typical format: Downloadable tenancy file (branch, tenancy ID, created/start/end dates, property address).
- 2
Tenancy documents
If Reapit is connected, executed documents (tenancy agreement, guarantor agreements, reference reports and ID documents) can export into the letters section of the Reapit tenancy. Confirm the Documents uploaded to PMS list on the Manage Tenancy page before you cancel Goodlord.
Typical format: PDFs stored on the CRM tenancy record.
- 3
Landlords, properties and applicants
These records often originate in the CRM and sync into Goodlord. Export them from the CRM of record (for example Reapit grid or report exports) rather than from Goodlord alone.
Typical format: Excel or CRM report export.
- 4
Payments and deposits
Download any payment, deposit and protection reports available in your Goodlord branch, and request a transaction history from Goodlord support if the on-screen export is incomplete for accounting handover.
Typical format: CSV or PDF reports, plus a support extract if required.
Watch-outs before you leave
- The published tenancy export covers tenancy metadata, not a full accounting ledger, document archive or referencing case file.
- Archived tenancies may need to be un-archived before they appear in operational reports. Confirm archived records before you export.
- If you use Goodlord with Reapit or another PMS, decide which system is the source of truth for each record type before you migrate.
Importing into Yorlet
Before you export
- Keep identifiers (tenancy ID, property ID, email) consistent across every export file.
- Export connected systems in the same window so repairs and payments still join to the tenancy.
- Plan Direct Debit re-enrolment if the collector is changing.
